United Way of West Central Mississippi mobilizes partners throughout our service area to identify and respond to our area's most critical needs, and raises and directs resources to local programs that address those needs.

Growing Proficient Readers
United Way of West Central Mississippi aligns our community with the Mississippi Campaign for Grade Level Reading in an effort to help children and youth achieve their full potential. This partnership provides statistically proven resources, networking opportunities, and the necessary support to increase the number of children reading proficiently by the end of third grade.
