Orlon brings a wealth of, strong, diverse background in public safety and leadership to United Way West Central Mississippi board of directors. With 23 years of experience in law enforcement, leadership, and management, Orlon is passionate about United Way of West Central Mississippi mission.
In Orlon professional capacity, Orlon currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ideal Security Services LLC in Vicksburg, Ms. In his role, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, overseeing budgets, and managing employees of the organization. Orlon also holds the position of Logistics Coordinator and Office/ Fleet Manager with the Mississippi State Fire Marshal Office in Jackson, MS, where he manages inventory, budget and transportation for the organization.
Beyond professional accomplishments, Orlon is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Orlon joined the United Way Board of Directors because he wanted to make a significant impact on the community. Serving as law enforcement officer has allowed him to provide a variety of services to the community throughout his career. Orlon loves serving his community.
Orlon holds a Bachelor of Science Criminal Justice from Stayer University and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Belhaven University. Orlon resides in Vicksburg Mississippi. Orlon hobbies are spending time with family, traveling and hunting.
