Alyssa Lick serves as the Director of Marketing and Resource Development at United Way of West Central Mississippi, where she combines strategic communication with community-driven initiatives to create lasting impact. With a strong background in leadership and a heart for service, Alyssa has spent years empowering others through volunteer coaching, mentorship, and collaborative development work. Driven by a deep passion for helping people succeed, Alyssa has dedicated a significant portion of her career to supporting individuals in achieving their goals—whether on the field, in the workplace, or within the community. Her commitment to mentorship led her to help author a leadership handbook through the Leadership Vicksburg program for mentor trainees. This project reflects her belief in cultivating strong, future-ready leaders.
I currently serve as President of both Vicksburg Young Professionals and the Vicksburg Area Marketing Professionals. I believe in the power of community, and I’m deeply committed to fostering leadership, collaboration, and growth in our region. Whether it’s mentoring young leaders or planning the next big initiative, my goal is to help Vicksburg thrive.
Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy unwinding by the pool or diving into legal case reviews—yes, I really do love dissecting court cases in my spare time. It’s all part of my curiosity and drive to learn, lead, and make a difference.
