Since July 2022, Christopher Barnett has served as a Supervisory Procurement Analyst, Branch Chief in the Business Operations Branch at the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). He served as a Lead Procurement Analyst with ERDC from 2021 to 2022.
Additionally, Christopher has worked as an Adjunct Instructor with Alcorn State University and Hinds Community College in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Christopher earned an Associate Degree in Micro Computer Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (2006), a Master of Business Administration (2009) in Technology Management, and a Doctor of Business Administration (2023).
His community service includes serving as a board member for the Vicksburg Tallulah Airport Board, Vicksburg Housing Authority, Visit Vicksburg, and Transportation Board. He also serves as a member of the NAACP, Blacks in Government, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, Port City Kiwanis, ASU Alumni, Stringer Lodge #1, Vicksburg Consistory #110, and Al Urdun Temple #268.
