Vicksburg Child and Parent Center
Description of agency/service:
Teaches parenting skills through weekly home visits and parent education programs for parents, at-risk of abuse/neglect, and the general community. Provides teen pregnancy/drug & violence prevention programs to area schools, churches, other community agencies and detention center along with any other organization which may request our services. Youth Court appointed volunteers serve as advocates for abused or neglected children. Provides community-wide education, lending library, Mentoring, and crisis line.
